The New VVGA Website

To all the members of the VVGA through your District Secretaries

On behalf of the Executive and Zone Councillors of the VVGA it is my very great pleasure to announce the launching of our own website – vvga.org.au

We have added as much content as we could from the Parmaker site and wish to acknowledge and thank Parmaker for their past and continuing support. A link from the Parmaker website to our new website will remain in place for some time.

I would like to thank Greg Bennett (our Treasurer) and Ian Tait (from the Melbourne Veterans District) for the incredible amount of work they have put into setting up our website. Their work has saved the VVGA thousands of dollars in development costs if we had used a professional website developer. The resultant website is a tribute to their skills and dedication. Greg will continue as our Webmaster.

The tabs across the top of the “Home Page” are self-explanatory and easy to navigate. The District tab has as much information as we could obtain, and if there are any issues, please contact our Treasurer/Webmaster Greg Bennett for any alterations or additions. Greg can be contacted on 0412 186 113 or gregbennett@iinet.net.au .

For those Districts with a website we have linked your website and your fixtures. This way whenever you modify events (as we have had to do during Covid) or change office bearers these changes will be immediately available for all VVGA Districts to see. For those Districts without a website we will add your 2022 fixtures to your District information. If you can supply your fixtures in Word or Excel it will make the process easier.

The VVGA events will be promoted through this website, with Entry Forms, Maps, Draws and Results.

The VVGA website is for all Districts to share information and it will only be as good as the information you supply.
